Highlighted by a three-run first inning, the Berea-Midpark baseball team won, 5-2, over Avon Lake Thursday afternoon in frigid conditions right off Lake Erie. With the win, the Titans improve to 3-6 in 2019.

Junior right-handed pitcher Jordan Cupach had a solid outing, going the distance for the Titans in the victory. He gave up two runs on eight hits with five strikeouts and no walks.

The Orange and Blue took a patient approach at the plate, with Mason Decker and Jacob Andrews both drawing two walks on the afternoon. Sophomore Kade Swisher led the Orange and Blue with two RBI in the victory.

Berea-Midpark will return to action on Monday April 15th when they host North Olmsted at Nichols Field. First pitch is set for 4:30 pm.
