Girls Soccer All-Southwestern Conference Honors

Four members of the Berea-Midpark girls soccer team were recognized with SWC honors, the conference announced Tuesday. Hallie Krzys earned first team All-SWC honors, Halle Dacek was named to the second team All-SWC while Makayla Watkins and Lexie Sikula were named honorable mention honorees.

A co-captain in 2020, Krzys picked up her fourth All-SWC selection in as many seasons after earning first team All-SWC honors as a junior and sophomore, and receiving honorable mention All-SWC laurels as a freshman. The senior midfielder also earned first team All Greater Cleveland and first team All Ohio this fall.

Dacek, the lone junior captain this season, earned her second All-SWC in a row after receiving honorable mention recognition for her sophomore year.  A key player for the Titans defense, Dacek earned honorable mention All Greater Cleveland this season.

Senior co-captain Makayla Watkins finished her third season in a row with All-SWC honors.  The Titan forward was first team All-SWC as a junior and earned honorable mention All-SWC after her sophomore campaign.  Watkins was recognized as second team All Greater Cleveland this fall.

Earning her second All-SWC recognition in as many seasons, senior co-captain Lexie Sikula finished the 2020 campaign with honorable mention honors.  Sikula was recognized as second team All-SWC in Berea-Midpark’s Conference Championship season as a junior.
