Boys Varsity Tennis · Senior Spotlight – Thinh Le

As hundreds of Titan student-athletes are affected by the early conclusion to the spring athletic season, the Berea-Midpark Athletic Department would like to recognize the spring senior class of 2020.  Each day we will recognize one of our spring seniors in our newest feature, “Senior Spotlight”.  We want to thank all of our seniors for the dedication to their sport, their team and their academics throughout their time at Berea-Midpark.  Today’s Senior Spotlight features:

Thinh Le

Sport: Tennis
Position: Doubles
Other Sports: Soccer
Post Graduation: Cleveland State University
Major: Business

What does your pre-game routine look like before a match?  Any superstitions?
Before ever game/match I like to listen to music and watch my opponent to see how they play.

What is the most memorable moment of your Berea-Midpark athletic career so far?
My favorite moment has been having the opportunity to play soccer and tennis with my friends.

In your opinion, what is the biggest reason your program has had success?
The thing I like about our programs and the athletes here is that we all help each other grow.

How much do you think you have learned about the sport since your freshman year? What is the biggest difference that you see in yourself?
I didn’t know anything about soccer and tennis my freshman year, but with the help from my friends and coaches I was able to reach the varsity level year.

What does it mean to you to be a Titan?
I think one word describes what it means to be a Titan and that is “Family”.
