The Berea-Midpark boys and girls swimming and diving teams fell to the Avon in an Southwestern Conference dual meet at Berea-Midpark Middle School on Tuesday night.
The girls fell to Avon by a score of 130-54 while the boys dropped a close one 94-81.
Senior Lexi Schuller won the 500 Freestyle, beating Avon’s Kaitlyn Hunt by seven seconds with her time of 5:43.18.
On the boys side, Colin Neumann was a double winner, claiming victories in the 200 Freestyle (2:03.73) and the 500 Freestyle (5:44.99). Roman Wentzel took first in the 100 Freestyle after touching the wall with his time of 55.50. John Pinzon continues to impress in the 100 Breaststroke with his first place finish in 1:14.32. Caden Dees won the 1 Meter diving competition for the Orange and Blue with his score of 208.05.
In relay action, the 200 Freestyle squad of Wentzel, Trevor Bycznski, Pinzon and Neumann took first in a time of 1:44.43.
The Titans swim teams will compete against Hathaway Brown and University School at Weatherhead Natatorium on Tuesday January 15th. Events get underway at 6 pm.
