Boys Varsity Swimming, Girls Varsity Swimming · Titans Swimmers Drop to Demons

The Titans swim teams had a rough open to 2019, dropping to Westlake 118-66 in the boys meet and 122-59 in the girls meet.

In diving, Caden Dees finished first overall out of four divers with his final score of 200.62.  John Pinzon took first in the 100 Breaststroke with his time of 1:12.70.

On the girls side two Titans had double victory nights.  LynnDee Popovich won the 200 IM with her time of 2:29.68, a full 12 seconds faster than Westlake’s Madeline Gentzel who took second.  Popovich also won the 100 Breaststroke with a time of 1:17.53.  Lexie Schuller dominated the 500 Freestyle, winning the event by 25 seconds after posting a time of 5:39.87.  Schuller edged out Katie Sanchez of Westlake in the 200 Freestyle with her time of 2:07.56 for her second win of the evening.

The Titans will travel to Toledo Saturday January 5th in a meet with Saint Francis de Sales, Saint Edward, and Saint Ursula Academy.
