Game Recap

The Berea-Midpark football team rallied from 23 points down but it was not enough as it fell to Amherst Steele by a final score of 51-41 at George Finnie Stadium.

Berea-Midpark (3-2, 3-1 SWC) was led by junior quarterback Trevor Bycznski as he accounted for 365 of the Titans 483 total yards. Bycznski completed 24 of 45 passes for 349 yards and four touchdowns, and carried the ball 11 times for 16 yards. Junior running back Bryce Agnew led the ground attack as he rushed for 77 yards on 16 carries, finding the endzone twice for Berea-Midpark.

Junior wide receiver Garrett Waite led the receiving corps with 155 yards on nine catches and two touchdowns. Junior Stephen Yerkey led the Titans with nine tackles on the evening with fellow junior Anthoney Miller right behind him with eight.

Berea-Midpark returns to action on Friday, September 29 when it hosts Midview for Homecoming. Homecoming festivities will occur prior to the game, and kickoff will be at 7 p.m.
