Game Recap

Junior running back Bryce Agnew hauled in seven receptions for 65 yards, rushed for 43 yards and scored two touchdowns, but the Berea-Midpark football team lost to Strongsville, 48-34, inside George Finnie Stadium.

Strongsville led 28-0 after one quarter and while the Titans did find the endzone twice in the second quarter, the Mustangs held a 35-14 lead at halftime.

Head Coach Jon Hunek was impressed with the effort after the slow start. “We overcame a lot of mistakes in the first quarter,” Hunek said. “I am proud that our team kept fighting.”

Offensively, Berea-Midpark junior quarterback Trevor Bycznski completed 26 of 43 passes for 339 yards with one throwing touchdown and also ran for two touchdowns. The leading receivers in yards were senior wideout Luis Vega (117 yards, 1 TD) and junior WR Dwayne Holland (73 yards).
